CORE Gymball classes are closely supervised exercise sessions run by a physiotherapist. The classes offer a great general strengthening program for people of all ages and all levels of fitness. We offer both gymball and cardio classes. CORE Gymball classes focus on strengthening and stretching. The classes offer a variety of resistance bands, weights and exercises to challenge the varying abilities. Class numbers are restricted to ensure the physios can cater for all levels in the class. Classes cater for all levels. From people who are returning to exercise after a long break, or those who have problems with ongoing back or neck pain to the elite athlete. The exercises are made more demanding as you get stronger, and can challenge even the strongest of abdominal muscles. The more active individual and athletes are constantly challenged to better develop their core strength. Don’t worry if you are new to using a gymball – there are lots of ways to make it easier. Class numbers are limited to ensure the exercises are tailored to suit you. CORE Cardio classes are also run by physiotherapists and are designed to get the heart rate up and get you fitter and stronger in a well-supervised class. The class involves boxing, light-weights and strength work. |
