Natasha O’Brien

Natasha O’Brien has 17 years experience working in physiotherapy and exercise prescription. Natasha is a vibrant therapist with a special interest in core stability training, back pain and has advanced training in women’s health physiotherapy. Natasha has worked with national level athletes and teams to improve core stability.

Natasha currently consults to Australian Catholic University and the Womens’ Health Training Association to train other physiotherapists on core stability and the pelvic floor. Natasha is the Principal Physiotherapist at Core Gymball and founded the classes in 2004.

Miriam Anseline

Miriam Anseline

Miriam Anseline is a physiotherapist and qualified fitness and pilates instructor. Miriam has taught a wide range of fitness and pilates classes including working at the Royal Hospital for Women where she taught pregnancy and post-natal exercise classes. Miriam runs an amazing, dynamic class and enjoys doing both the Core Gymball classes as well as the Core cardio sessions.

Miriam’s passion for health and fitness is infectious and Miriam is fit enough to challenge even the strongest of men in our classes!

Louise Richardson

Louise Richardson

Louise Richardson is an experienced physiotherapist with degrees in both Physiotherapy and Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. She is a keen soccer player who currently works in a private physiotherapy practice as well as running Core Gymball classes. Louise’s wealth of knowledge in all areas of injury management is a valuable skill shared with all that attend her sessions.

Louise’s gentle nature and excellent communication make her a wonderful instructor of both the gymball and cardio classes.

Jenny Opperman

Jenny Opperman

Jenny Opperman is a physiotherapist with a special interest in exercise prescription and advanced training in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Jenny’s friendly enthusiasm shines through in the bubbly nature of the Thursday morning gymball sessions. Jenny’s passion for women’s health means she enjoys adding extra advice on the pelvic floor (the base of our core muscles) to her Core Gymball classes.

Jenny delights in helping a broad cross section of clients including pregnant and post-natal ladies, women with prolapse, and all who are overcoming injuries.

Linda Newby

Linda Newby is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with her masters in Occupational Health and Safety. Linda enjoys engaging the community through group exercise classes & is passionate about group exercise promoting more than just physical health. Linda enjoys sharing her extensive skills in rehabilitation and injury management within her classes.

Linda has owned her on private practice in remote Tasmania and in her spare time enjoys cooking, paddle boarding, snow skiing and travelling.

Rebecca Robinson

Rebecca is a passionate physiotherapist who graduated from Australian Catholic University in North Sydney. Rebecca enjoys working with a variety of clients recovering from injuries, or anyone eager to improve their biomechanics (movement), core stability, posture awareness and perform exercises safely and efficiently. Rebecca has a special interest in women’s health physiotherapy and has done advanced training in this area.

Rebecca enjoys an active lifestyle participating in aerial fitness, playing beach volleyball, taking her dog Luna for a walk, and learning to surf.

Rachel Cook is a motivated physiotherapist who tailors classes to fit your personal goals. Rachel’s inviting and friendly enthusiasm shines through each class with a focus for core stability and pelvic floor engagement during all exercises. Rachel has experience working within the community in an acute care setting and looks forward to welcoming you to both the Core Gymball and Core Cardio sessions.

Rachel has a passion for all things outdoors including mountain biking, rock climbing and mountaineering, as well as having an extensive gymnastics history. Rachel understands the demands of our body and the importance of excellent core stability and posture in daily tasks to prevent injury.

Darlene is a dedicated physiotherapist and BASI-trained Pilates instructor, originally from the United States. With a diverse career background, Darlene specializes in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and women’s health physiotherapy. She has a deep understanding of DNS principles, allowing her to excel in designing and leading group physiotherapy core stability classes that enhance neuromuscular control and optimize movement patterns for improved strength and stability.

Darlene’s classes are tailored for individuals of all ages and abilities, providing personalized challenges within each participant’s level. In her free time, Darlene stays active with beach walks, bush hikes, swimming, cycling, and paddleboarding, often enjoying these activities with her partner and his daughters.
